Welcome
to the Oklahoma City Gun Club's Archery Division. We are one of many
different aspects that the Oklahoma City Gun Club offers to its members
and the public during special events. The Oklahoma City Gun Club is
located north east of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma approximately 3 miles
north and one mile east of the town of Arcadia, Oklahoma. The club
offers many firearm related competitions throughout the year such as
High Power Rifle, Action Pistol, Skeet, NRA Pistol, Blackpowder, and
Silhouette Rifle and Pistol competitions, just to name a few. Most
competitions are open to the public, check our Point of Contact list
for more information.
The Archery division host regular 3-D archery competitions throughout the spring and summer, see the schedule for dates and times. The range consist of mixed hardwoods and grasslands offering a wide variety of realistic hunting shots ranging from just a few yards to a maximum of fifty yards. Shots can be expected from deep in the dark shadow laden woods to the wide open grasslands. The large area that comprises the Archery range allows for many different configurations of setting the range so that it looks differently from month to month. Shot s will challenge any level of competitor from those just starting 3-D competition to the seasoned expert. A practice range is available with target butts at ten yard intervals from 10 to 60 yards. The club promotes a family atmosphere and encourages participation for both youths and ladies. Competitors are friendly and eager to help the novice. This is a great place to learn of archery and hunting and to refine your shooting abilities! Concessions are available and consist of burgers, hotdogs, polish sausage, chips, candy and drinks.
