The Concept: It will be shot with the WWI or WWII bolt-action sniper rifles of the type issued to snipers of that era. An original rifle or one of the recently introduced Soviet M91/30.
Shooting will be from 200M thru 500M on the Silhouette Range. Ten rounds, ten minutes for ten targets. Any safe position, from crossed sticks, sand bags, log, etc. No mechanical rests. Forearm of rifle supported only. No rear rests of any type.
Forty rounds required to complete the match. No MILITARY SURPLUS AMMO. Reloads or commercial soft point only.
Shooters may/will have a spotter to keep score & to indicate hits and/or misses.
Shooting coats of the canvas type are permitted, ground cloths or mats are of a benefit. Watch the "Primer" for more information or you can give me a call.
