National Skeet Shooting Association
Amateur Trapshooting Association
The Shotgun Division ranges are located on the east side of the club property. Our gate is located one quarter of a mile north of Sorghum Mill Road on Hiawassee Road on the left. We have 5 skeet fields, two of which overlay trap fields. Other facilities we offer include a hand trap where you can bring your own targets and throw them from the manual trap, a pattern board to test your loads, bring your own targets to pin to the screen in front of the pattern board (clothes pins work best). We also have a clubhouse with 2 restrooms, a large pavilion and 15 camper spaces with electricity and water hookups.
Our #1 & #3 skeet and #1 trap fields are honors fields and may be used by members out of our regular hours. Before a member may use the honors field he must attend an orientation to familiarize him with the safe and proper use of the equipment and other procedures relevant to the skeet and trap ranges. The honors field will be closed during matches and leagues.
Our normal shooting hours are Saturday and Sunday 9 AM - Noon,
Thursday afternoons 5 till dark during daylight savings time and
Thursday afternoons after daylight savings time is over.
The Shotgun ranges are only open to members and guests, except during
registered matches when non-members may compete.
